Anxiety is a valid expression of your emotions; it comes from your fears, expectations, concerns, and doubts about your life and related aspects. Anxiety levels vary from person to person. Stress increases as anxiety increases. You feel more pressurized and restless.
The tricky thing about anxiety is that the more you think about it, the more you get it.
For instance, you have a meeting tomorrow morning and you can’t stop thinking about it. Because of this, you get anxious. Your anxiety automatically makes you think more about the meeting and leave you feeling stressed and restless. And there are chances that the meeting doesn’t proceed well the next day.
Throughout my 25 years of coaching career, I have witnessed the majority of people in this situation choosing medication to treat anxiety. But are you aware that medication has long-term physical side effects on your body and brain?
One way to minimize medication consumption and treat anxiety is:
- Think about the source of your anxiety.
- Try to figure out where that particular emotion comes from.
You feel stressed out and restless, so think about what causes this overflow of emotions. You will have to distinguish different emotions and know the source of anxiety to manage them throughout your life.
Anxiety management is an ongoing process and the first step is to talk about your anxiety. The more you talk about it, the lighter you feel and you become less pressurized. Since everyone’s thoughts and emotions can never be the same, the time and effort needed to deal with anxiety can vary.
- Do you often cry loudly and break things at home to relieve your anxiety?
- Want to learn the source of these emotions?
- Want to talk about an anxiety management program?
Feel free to message me to find the solutions to all of your childrearing challenges. All I need is your 30 minutes and willingness to look at your anxiety.
